Hacia una nueva concepción de la vivienda en el Perú: los aportes de la corporación nacional de la vivienda, 1945-1956

Abstract

La historiografía de la arquitectura y del urbanismo peruanos son categóricos al afirmar la importancia del aporte de la Corporación Nacional de la Vivienda (CNV) como punto de inflexión en el ideario peruano sobre como "crear ciudad" y por ende una "nueva sociedad" pero, también, por esta haberse convertido en un laboratorio en el cual se buscaban alternativas "modernas" a la "forma de vivir" a través de una "nueva concepción de la vivienda''. El presente texto busca comprender la importancia de los actores y el contexto en el cual fueron engendradas estas ideas y como ellas mismas fueron retroalimentándose a partir del análisis de los propios trabajos elaborados. También explora la importancia que algunos de ellos representan, no solo en la escala nacional sino internacional, al ser entendidos como paradigmas de la vivienda social en América Latina.

The historiography of Peruvian architecture and urbanism is categorical when affirming that the importance of the contribution of Corporación Nacional de la Vivienda is like a turning point in the Peruvian ideas on how to "build city" and therefore a "new society", and also like a laboratory in which "modern" alternatives are sought to "the way of living" through a "new concept of housing". The current text seeks to understand the importance of the actors and the context in which these ideas were conceived and how they were feeding back by themselves, starting from the analysis of the works prepared themselves It also explores the importance that sorne of them represent, not only at national level, but international level when being understood as paradigms of social housing in Latín America
