Diseño de un modelo de control y gestión de existencias para mejorar el desempeño de una empresa comercializadora

Abstract

El presente trabajo que comprende el desarrollo de un modelo de control y Gestión de existencias en una empresa de rubro eléctrico, tiene como objetivo primordial el planteamiento de una estrategia y metodología de abastecimiento y control de existencias, que garantice ahorros significativos para la empresa, mediante la gestión eficiente de la disponibilidad de los materiales en términos de cantidad, calidad, nivel de servicio y oportunidad, empleando como herramienta de soporte los módulo MM-WM del sistema SAP R/3. La metodología empleada para el análisis y diagnóstico de la situación actual de la empresa, partió de establecer conjuntamente con el directorio valores objetivos de rotación de inventario(4), exactitud de registros de inventario (98.50%) y Fill Rate (95%) , que la empresa debería alcanzar para ser más competitiva en el mercado, ya que en base a estos valores fijados , se procedió a plantear el modelo de control y gestión de los inventarios, ya que si se establece dicha metodología conseguirá el incremento de la rotación desde el punto de vista de gestión de abastecimiento , mediante la implementación y aplicación del sistema SAP/R3 y a su vez conseguir un efecto en el incremento del ERI mediante el desarrollo de su filosofía en las operaciones del almacén. Paralelamente el aumento de ambos indicadores afecta directamente en el Fill Rate originando su incremento. Por consiguiente, a través del análisis de beneficio-costo en el que se indican los resultados de los ahorros, se obtendrá si lo evaluado por este estudio, se concluye como propuesta viable.

The present work that includes the development of a control model and stock management in a company of electrical industry, has as its main objective the approach of a strategy and methodology of supply and control of stocks, which guarantees significant savings for the company, through the efficient management of the availability of the materials in terms of quantity, quality, level of service and opportunity, using the MM-WM module of the SAP R/3 system as a support tool. The methodology used for the analysis and diagnosis of the current situation of the company, started by establishing together with the directory objective values of inventory rotation (4), accuracy of inventory records (98.50%) and Fill Rate (95%), that the company should achieve to be more competitive in the market, since based on these fixed values, the inventory control and management model was considered, since if this methodology is established, it will increase the turnover from the point of view of supply management, through the implementation and application of the SAP / R3 system and in turn to achieve an effect in the increase of the ERI through the development of its philosophy in the operations of the warehouse. In parallel, the increase of both indicators directly affects the Fill Rate causing its increase. Therefore, through the benefit-cost analysis in which the results of the savings are indicated, it will be obtained if the evaluation of this study concludes as a viable proposal.
