Arquitectura sostenible : análisis de obras con enfoque sostenible de 1992-2009

Abstract

La arquitectura sostenible se da como una respuesta al debate de sostenibilidad y al tema planteado en la Cumbre de Río de 1992, la cual se centró principalmente en los temas; ambiental, social y económico. Adopta tales y le suma dos características; lo expresivo y funcional, es decir le da un enfoque holístico. La muestra de análisis consta de cuatro obras peruanas que se analizaron en base a la información brindada por los propios autores, visitas a las obras. También se analizaron seis obras, como base de comparación, ubicadas en el contexto mundial, para las cuales la mayor parte del trabajo se realizó en gabinete y fue basado en datos bibliográficos, entrevistas y publicaciones. Se tomaron como base principal para el análisis, los tratados, certificados y normas de calidad medioambiental, así como las ideas de los principales representantes de esta corriente arquitectónica, reconocidos por los premios Pritzker e información de libros de autores versados en el tema. Concluyendo con una tabla de variables e indicadores. De acuerdo al análisis realizado, quedó comprobada la hipótesis puesto que dio como resultado que todos los arquitectos participantes manejaron un enfoque holístico al considerar y aplicar las cinco variables en el desarrollo de sus proyectos. Como conclusión de la investigación cabe señalar que si bien las diez obras analizadas, manejaron un enfoque holístico, se dan diferentes grados de aplicación e interés en cada una de las variables en el siguiente orden: Expresión, función, ambiental, económica y finalmente la variable social.

Sustainable architecture is given as response to the debate of sustainability at the summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992, which is focused mainly on environmental, social and economic issues. The sustainable architecture takes it and adds two more features; the expressive and the functional, adding a holistic approach. The sample of analysis consists of four Peruvian buildings that were analyzed based on information provided by the authors themselves, inspections of the buildings. Also six buildings were analyzed as a basis for comparison, located in the world-wide context, for which the majority of the work was realized in office and was based in bibliographic data, interviews and publications. As the main basics for the analysis, treaties, certificates and environmental quality standards were taken into account, as well as the ideas of the main representatives of the sustainable architecture recognized by the Pritzker Prizes and information from books by authors well versed in the subject. Concluding with a board of variables and indicators. According to the analysis carried out, the hypothesis was proven, since resulted in all the participating architects handled a holistic approach to consider and apply the same five variables in the development of their projects. As a conclusion of the investigation, it is important to say that while all of the ten buildings analyzed, had a holistic approach. It has seen different grades of applications and interest in each of the variables in the following order: expression, function, environmental, economic and finally the social.
