La inversión pública y el crecimiento económico en la Región Pasco, 2008-2018

Abstract

Esta investigación se desarrolló con el propósito de explicar la influencia de la inversión pública en el crecimiento económico de la región Pasco en el periodo 2008 – 2018; el proceso de estudio fue de tipo descriptivo, correlacional y explicativo, bajo el enfoque cuantitativo; además, la estimación de los modelos econométricos propuestos se realizó a través de la regresión lineal del método de Mínimos Cuadrados Ordinarios; asimismo, los resultados de las estimaciones econométricas evidenciaron la influencia de la inversión pública, en conjunto de los sectores de transporte, salud, educación y agricultura en el crecimiento económico de la región Pasco; en suma, las variables tuvieron una influencia significativa; sin embargo, de las cuatro variables (inversión en los sectores de trasporte, salud, educación y agricultura) sólo la variable inversión en agricultura, contribuyó, de manera directa, al crecimiento económico de la región Pasco; mientras, las tres variables apoyaron de manera indirecta.

This research was carried out with the purpose of explaining the influence of public investment in the economic growth of the Pasco region in the period 2008 - 2018; the study process was descriptive, correlational and explanatory, under the quantitative approach; In addition, the estimation of the proposed econometric models was carried out through the linear regression of the Ordinary Minimum Squares method; Likewise, the results of the econometric estimates showed the influence of public investment, as a whole of the transport, health, education and agriculture sectors in the economic growth of the Pasco region; In sum, the variables had a significant influence; nevertheless, of the four variables (investment in the transport, health, education and agriculture sectors) only the variable investment in agriculture contributed directly to the economic growth of the Pasco region; Meanwhile, the three variables indirectly supported.
