Modelo de arquitectura de almacenamiento de datos aplicando inteligencia de negocios para las pequeñas y medianas empresas

Abstract

La Inteligencia de Negocios, desde la aparición de la computadora electrónica ha ido evolucionando desde que los responsables en las organizaciones siempre han requerido reportes para tomar decisiones, luego se formalizan los sistemas de información con el mismo propósito de ayuda a la toma de decisiones. Con el cambio del milenio, empieza con fuerza el desarrollo de la Inteligencia de Negocios junto con las desnormalizaciones de las Base de Datos Relacionales en los modelos multidimensionales. La presente investigación propone un modelo de Inteligencia de Negocios para las PYMES, en el sentido que se minimiza el uso de softwares que actualmente muchos presentan en el mercado actual y hacen complejo su manejo. Se diseña los elementos de la Inteligencia de Negocios en el mismo sistema de gestión de base de datos y se complementa con el software de soluciones de Inteligencia de Negocios que se encargará de concluir el modelo del datawarehouse. Los resultados del modelo propuesto se producen con el mismo software de soluciones de Inteligencia Empresarial que da interfaces interactivas para mostrar los reportes importantes para la toma de decisiones, que luego de implantarse los usuarios pueden ellos mismos administrarlos, solución que es propicia para las PYMES.

Business Intelligence, since the appearance of the electronic computer, has evolved since those responsible in organizations have always required reports to make decisions, then information systems are formalized with the same purpose of helping decision-making. With the change of the millennium, the development of Business Intelligence begins with force along with the denormalizations of the Relational Databases in multidimensional models. This research proposes a Business Intelligence model for SMEs, in the sense that the use of software that many currently present in the current market is minimized and their management is complex. The elements of Business Intelligence are designed in the same database management system and it is complemented with the Business Intelligence solutions software that will be in charge of completing the datawarehouse model. The results of the proposed model are produced with the same Business Intelligence solutions software that provides interactive interfaces to show the important reports for decision-making, which after being implemented, the users can manage them themselves, a solution that is suitable for SMEs
