The experimental laboratory program included the preparation of concrete mixtures with a slump of 6 "to 7" to have an adequate behavior on site with respect to the placement of concrete. Tests were carried out in fresh state of unit weight, air content, exudation, fluidity, setting time. The additive was used in dosages of 0.72%, 1.00% and 1.18% by weight of the cement, being proposed within the range indicated in the manufacturer's technical data sheet. For the present investigation, a series of 377 test pieces (288 compression, 48 traction, 32 elastic modulus and 9 optimal aggregate for resistance) and 32 beams were manufactured. Portland Cement Type I brand "Sol", fine and coarse aggregates from the "Trapiche" and "Gloria" quarries respectively, in the city of Lima, and the superplasticizer additive MASTER EASE 3900 from BASF SA was used. The concrete under study considers w / c relationships of 0.45, 0.50, 0.55, 0.60. The mixture design was carried out with the global aggregate method, in which percentages of 44%, 47%, 50% are taken; 53%, 56% by weight of fine aggregate with respect to the total weight of aggregates, obtaining a maximum compacted unit weight (P.U.C) when 49.25% of fine aggregate was used. Then, when testing specimens at 7 days, an optimal percentage of combination of aggregates by resistance and P.U.C. obtaining 49.37% and 50.63% of fine and coarse aggregate respectively. Then, sixteen (16) types of mixtures were designed. The first was the standard concrete (CP) where an average f'c was obtained at 28 days of 370, 358, 333, 314 kg / cm2. The second CPA (0.72%), where an average f'c of 636, 454, 440, 343 kg / cm2 was obtained. The third CPA (1%), where an average f'c of 652, 608, 524, 469 kg / cm2 was obtained, and the last CPA (1.18%), where an average f'c of 700, 632, 621, 519 kg / cm2 was obtained. It was determined that the best cost-resistance to compression ratio is in the range of w/c = 0,50 – 0,55, while the optimal dosage is in the range of 1%. Then, it can be taken as a base design on site in order to optimize the rheological behavior of the concrete.
