La contribución del Perú al deterioro de las capa de ozono y su relación con el crecimiento económico del país

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación consideró dos aspectos importantes en el desarrollo del Perú, el primero de ellos, referido al tema ambiental, a partir del análisis de un problema a nivel mundial como es el agotamiento de la Capa de Ozono, no solo en el ámbito internacional sino enfocado en la contribución que realiza el Perú entorno a ello; y el segundo, el aspecto económico, donde se identificó el crecimiento económico que ha presentado nuestro país en los últimos años y cómo este aspecto está relacionado a los esfuerzos del país en mejorar la calidad del medio ambiente. En ese sentido, el objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar la relación de la contribución del Perú al deterioro de la Capa de Ozono y el crecimiento económico presentado por el país durante el periodo de 1989 al 2019. Para ello, se utilizó la siguiente metodología: una investigación mixta con enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo, tomando como base la hipótesis de la Curva Ambiental de Kuznets, aplicando un modelo estadístico de regresión, para lo cual se utilizó el software estadístico E-views 10. La unidad de análisis de la investigación fueron los valores numéricos que reflejaron los cambios cuantitativos y cualitativos del crecimiento económico del país en el período 1989-2019 y los valores numéricos que reflejan los cambios cuantitativos y cualitativos de la contribución del país al deterioro de la Capa de Ozono en el mismo período de tiempo, se tomaron fuentes de información como los documentos referidos a la implementación del Protocolo de Montreal Relativo a las Sustancias que Agotan la Capa de Ozono y estudios de caso sobre la aplicación de la Curva Ambiental de Kuznets; de esta manera se obtuvo como conclusión principal que, la relación entre la contribución del Perú al deterioro de la Capa de Ozono y el crecimiento económico del país es inversa, con una bondad de ajuste del 92.5% y un error del 1.21%, lo cual significó que el crecimiento económico del país favoreció a reducir la contribución del Perú al agotamiento de la capa de ozono en dicho periodo. Finalmente, corresponde mencionar que, los resultados obtenidos al aplicar la hipótesis de la Curva Ambiental de Kuznets solo son empleados para el tema materia de la presente investigación (contribución al deterioro de la Capa de Ozono), no correspondiendo para otros tipos de contaminantes que no han sido considerados en este documento.

The present research work studied two important aspects in the development of Peru, the first of which referred to the environmental issue, based on the analysis of a worldwide problem such as the depletion of the ozone layer, not only in the international but focused on the contribution that Peru makes around it; and the second, the economic aspect, where the economic growth that our country has presented in recent years was identified and how this aspect is related to the country's efforts to improve the quality of the environment. In this sense, the objective of this research was to determine the relationship between Peru's contribution to the deterioration of the ozone layer and the economic growth presented by the country in the period from 1989 to 2019. For this, the following methodology was achieved: an empirical research with a quantitative approach, based on the hypothesis of the Kuznets Environmental Curve, applying a statistical regression model, for which the statistical software E-views 10 was obtained. The unit of analysis of the research was the numerical values that reflect the quantitative and qualitative changes in the country's economic growth in the period 1989-2019 and the numerical values that reflect the quantitative and qualitative changes in the country's contribution to the deterioration of the layer of ozone in the same period, sources of information were taken, such as the documents referring to the implementation of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer and case studies on the application of the Kuznets Environmental Curve ; In this way, the main conclusion was obtained that the relationship between Peru's contribution to the deterioration of the ozone layer and the country's economic growth is inverse, with a goodness of fit of 92.5% and an error of 1.21%, which meant that the economic growth of the country country favored reducing Peru's contribution to the depletion of the ozone layer in that period of time. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the results obtained from the Kuznets Environmental Curve hypothesis are only used for the subject matter of this research (contribution to the deterioration of the ozone layer), not corresponding to other types of pollutants that have not been considered in this document.
