Estrategia competitiva del Ingeniero Civil de Chiclayo

Abstract

Al inicio del presente trabajo se formula la hipótesis que la competitividad del ingeniero civil de Chiclayo es de nivel desfavorable el año 2004 en su ejercicio profesional, debido principalmente a que no planifica su vida y carrera, que son escasos los ingenieros que poseen postgrados y especialización, que dominen principalmente el idioma inglés, que conozcan de las tecnologías de la información y de las comunicaciones, y que apliquen adecuadamente software de ingeniería, entre otras competencias. Además se ve amenazado por sus competidores de otras regiones del país y del extranjero, é inclusive por quienes ejercen ilegalmente la profesión. En el mundo globalizado en que vivimos se requiere de profesionales cada vez más calificados, por lo que es imperativo que el ingeniero civil de Chiclayo sea competitivo, siendo necesario formular las estrategias competitivas adecuadas, que le permitan alcanzar el éxito duradero. Para verificar la hipótesis se hace un diagnóstico de la competitividad del ingeniero civil de Chiclayo al 2004, valorado con la escala de Likert. Con este diagnóstico se establece un plan estratégico de cuatro fases: organización; análisis y diagnóstico de la situación actual, el que concluye con la matriz FODA; determinación de objetivos y líneas de acción, donde se formulan las estrategias; y finalmente el seguimiento del plan. Como resultado de la investigación se comprueba que la competitividad del ingeniero civil de Chiclayo es de nivel desfavorable el año 2004 en el ejercicio de su profesión, formulándose dos ejes estratégicos: de vida y carrera, y seis líneas estratégicas, que él, con criterio, pueda adoptar después de reflexionar según su situación particular, en un escenario del año 2015, alcanzando el éxito duradero.

At the beginning of the present work, it is formulated the hypothesis that the competitiveness of the civil engineer of Chiclayo is of unfavorable level to 2004 in his professional exercise, owed mainly to that he doesn’t plan his life and career, there are few engineers who have postgdegrees and specialization, which they mainly dominate the English language, that know the technologies of the information and the communications, and that apply engineering software suitably, among other competitions. In addition he is threatened by his competitors from other regions of the country, and from other countries, and including by those who exert the profession illegally. In the globalized world in which we lived is required more and more of qualified professionals, reason why it is imperative that the civil engineer of Chiclayo is competitive, making it necessary to formulate competitive strategies appropriate to enable him to achieve the durable success. To check the Hypothesis there is done a diagnosis of the competitiveness of the civil engineer of chiclayo to 2004 valued with Likert's scale. With this diagnosis there is established a strategic plan of four phases: organization, analysis and diagnosis of the present situation, which it concludes with the matrix FODA, determination of objectives and strategic lines where the strategies are formulated; and finally the monitoring of the plan. As result of the investigation it is found that the competitiveness of the civil engineer from Chiclayo is of unfavorable level to 2004 in his professional exercise, being formulated two strategic axes: life and career, and six strategic lines which he, judiciously, can take them after reflect according to their particular situation, in a scene of the year 2015, reaching the lasting success.
