Mejora del proceso de adquisiciones de bienes implementando la metodología Six Sigma en el departamento de compras en una empresa minera

Abstract

La presente tesis tiene como objetivo principal: mejorar el proceso de adquisición de bienes a través de la implementación de la metodología SIX SIGMA en el departamento de compras de una empresa minera. El trabajo se inicia con una breve descripción de la organización mostrando la línea de negocio y las operaciones en el que está involucrado. Se presenta el marco teórico con los conceptos, métodos y herramientas que soportan la tesis, las cuales serán la base y soporte para desarrollar la metodología de la investigación del problema e identificar los factores más relevantes que son las fuentes del problema, para lo cual se planteará y explicará el sistema propuesto (desarrollo de los pasos de la metodología de six sigma) el mismo que será la solución de los problemas identificados, también se propondrá mejoras, las cuales serán fundamentales para optimizar la gestión del área y orientarlo hacia la excelencia. Posteriormente se presenta un análisis económico financiero y evaluación de los resultados lo cual nos ofrece los beneficios económicos alcanzados luego de ejecutarse la propuesta elegida, para la cual se elabora y presenta un comparativo entre el sistema utilizado existente en el área y el sistema propuesto.

The present thesis has as main objective: the acquisition process improvement of goods, through the SIX SIGMA methodology implementation in the purchasing department of a mining company. The work begins with a brief description of the organization showing the line of business and operations in which it is involved. It presents the theoretical framework with the concepts, methods and tools that support the thesis, which are the basis and support to develop the methodology of the investigation of the problem and identify the most relevant factors that the sources of the problem, so To propose and explain the proposed system (development of the steps of the six sigma methodology), which will be the solution of the problems identified, will also propose improvements, the causes are fundamental to optimize the management of the area and guide towards excellence . Subsequently an economic and financial analysis is presented and the evaluation of the results is what offers the benefits obtained after the realization of the chosen proposal, for which a comparison is made between the existing system used in the area and the proposed system.
