Arquitectura: el espacio y sus detalles

Abstract

Este documento bosqueja algunos fragmentos de las vivencias arquitectónicas en las últimas dos décadas, transcurridas después mi paso por las aulas. La arquitectura es un quehacer holístico, en el que se suman el ejercicio creativo en sus niveles más abstractos y la riqueza del trato humano a todo nivel, para materializarse a través de un esfuerzo colectivo con el concurso de múltiples actores. Mi percepción desde que ingresé a la UNI al día de hoy ha cambiado mucho. Apenas egresé me veía trabajando en una oficina, pero la vida me ha llevado a recorrer el circuito completo de la arquitectura, desde las etapas más incipientes del diseño, pasando por la construcción, hasta desempeñarme en la promoción inmobiliaria por cuenta propia. Mi paso por la universidad sirvió para cimentar mi formación inicial y entender la ética profesional, potenciar mi capacidad de diseño, aprender a plantearme problemas y a preocuparme en atender las necesidades del individuo mejorando su calidad de vida y su hábitat. Mi experiencia fuera de las aulas me ha permitido crecer y perfeccionarme. En los últimos años mi trato con los clientes se da haciendo uso de la psicología, para entender e interpretar sus búsquedas y hacer realidad sus propios sueños. Me considero una profesional que busca dar calidad a sus trabajos trasladando las enseñanzas y críticas de mis maestros a los encargos de mis clientes y sus usuarios.

This document draws some fragments of architectural experiences in the last two decades elapsed after my time in the classroom. Architecture is a holistic endeavor, in which you combine the creative exercise in their more abstract levels and the wealth of humane treatment at all levels, in order to materialize through a joint effort with the help of multiple stakeholders. My perception since I joined the UNI to today has changed a lot. As soon as I graduated I saw myself working in an office, but life has led me to travel the entire circuit of architecture, from the early stages of design, through the construction phase, to promoting real state on my own account. My time at the university served to strengthen my initial training, understand professional ethic, empower my ability to design, learn to consider problems, and consider the needs of the individual to improve their quality of life and habitat. My experience outside the classrooms has allowed me to grow and perfect myself. In recent years in my dealings with clients I’ve made use of psychology to understand and interpret their searches and realize their own dreams. I consider myself a professional who seeks to give quality to my work, translating the teachings and criticism of my teachers at the orders of my clients and their users.
