Gestión educativa de una unidad de posgrado y su eficiencia; caso: sección de Posgrado FIECS-UNI, periodo 2004-2011

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación, nos ha permitido desarrollar la tesis “GESTIÓN EDUCATIVA DE UNA UNIDAD DE POSGRADO Y SU EFICIENCIA”, que permitirá a su autor graduarse, como maestro en GESTIÓN Y DESARROLLO luego de cumplir con el adecuado proceso de graduación; el tema seleccionado para el estudio, se fundamenta porque en la actualidad en el recinto de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería a nivel de posgrado existe un bajo nivel de graduados dentro del cual, se incluye la Sección de Posgrado de la Facultad de Ingeniería Económica y Ciencias Sociales, no obstante contar con un alto potencial de egresados; a quienes les falta el grado respectivo que los califique oficialmente como maestros y/o doctores para abordar el actual mercado laboral que requieren tanto el sector público como el privado de profesionales altamente calificados para actuar con éxito en el actual contexto; como son a nivel exógeno la globalización, el desarrollo de las tecnologías para las comunicaciones e información; y, endógenamente el Estado peruano se encuentra en pleno proceso de Descentralización y Regionalización exigiendo su modernización y, por otro lado el sector privado en la búsqueda de competitividad para sus acciones. El estudio, nos permite afirmar que la GESTIÓN EDUCATIVA DE UNA UNIDAD DE POSGRADO, influye significativamente en su EFICIENCIA, indicando que se debe prestar especial atención a esta actividad; igualmente se comprobó que la GESTIÓN ACADÉMICA y GESTIÓN ADMINISTRATIVA influyen en su EFICIENCIA, siendo la primera la de mayor significación; recomendando el mejoramiento continuo de los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje y graduación, para que la UNI cuente con un mayor número de graduados vía tesis de grado defendidas exitosamente, contribuyendo en la generación de conocimientos e innovación tecnológica para beneficio del país y por ende de la comunidad nacional.

The present research work has enabled us to develop the thesis "Management education of A unit of graduate and your efficiency", allowing the author to graduating as master in management and development after completing the appropriate process of graduation; the theme selected for the study based because currently on the campus of the National University of engineering at the graduate level there is a low level of graduates within which, includes the postgraduate section of the Faculty of engineering economics and social sciences, however have a high potential of graduates; to those who lack the respective degree qualifying them officially as teachers or doctors to deal with the current labour market, requiring the public sector and private of highly qualified professionals to act successfully in the current context, exogenous globalization, the development of information and communications technologies; and ontogenetically, the Peruvian State in the process of decentralization and regionalization demanding modernization; and the private sector in the quest for competitiveness.

The study allows us to assert that the management education of A unit of graduate, influences significantly in its academic efficiency of the unit, indicating it must pay particular attention to this variable; also found that the management of academic and administrative management influence your academic efficiency, being the first of these two, of major significance; recommending the continuous improvement of the processes of teaching and learning and graduation, to tell the UNI with a greater number of graduates via successfully defended thesis, contributing to the generation of knowledge and technological innovation for the benefit of the country and therefore of the national community.
