La vigencia del pintoresquismo en Los Olivos

Abstract

Se analiza si los estilos pintorescos que surgieron en los chalés de clase media-alta de Lima de la década del veinte siguen vigentes, cuáles han desaparecido, qué nuevos estilos pintorescos han aparecido, porqué, y si estos estilos llegan a definir una arquitectura limefla. Se elige el distrito de Los Olivos por ser una zona que aloja a la clase media emergente de Lima de los aflos noventa.

This article analyses the permanency or disappear of the pintoresque languages which surged in the middle-upper class chalets in Lima during the twenty years. It discusses which new pictoresque languages exist today, and if these architectural styles define an local architecture. The area of study is the district of Los Olivos, an area where the new emergent middle-class of the ninetieth years lives, specifically the Urb. El Trébol.
