Experiencias en el Taller (Artesano). Una reflexión desde el pragmatismo

Abstract

El presente artículo, pretende esbozar una reflexión sobre la construcción. del conocimiento profesional en Arquitectura, basada en la dialéctica entre las concepciones de la corriente pragmatista y la experiencia docente en el ámbito de la Facultad de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Tomaremos la figura del artesano, en tanto sujeto que establece un diálogo entre la práctica concreta y el pensamiento reflexivo, y del taller como ámbito de construcción de conocimiento y desarrollo de habilidades. Estos serán los referentes explicativos que materializarán las categorías de análisis vinculadas a la producción de conocimiento en este ámbito: practicum, reflexivo, experiencia, habilidad, relaciones cara a cara, conocimiento tácito.

This article outlines a reflection on the construction of professional knowledge in Architecture, based on the dialectics between the conceptions of the pragmatist current and teaching experience in the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of Universidad Nacional de La Plata. We will take the figure of the craftsman inasmuch as this establishes a dialogue between concrete practice and reflexive thought, and that of the workshop as a place for the construction of knowledge and development of skills. These will be the explanatory referents that will materialize the categories of analysis linked with the production of knowledge in this area: reflective practicum, experience, skill, face-to-face refationship, and tacit knowledge.
