Proceso de remoción de plomo del estaño utilizando el cristalizador electro-térmico continuo

Abstract

Esta tesis se centra en la aplicación de la tecnología del cristalizador electro – térmico continuo para la remoción de plomo del estaño metálico obtenido por el proceso Ausmelt. Se analizan los resultados químicos de muestras obtenidas en 645 lotes procesados en el cristalizador electro – térmico y se complementa con una evaluación metalográfica de las muestras obtenidas en distintas etapas de la cristalización fraccionada. Se comprueba que este método permite remover efectivamente el plomo y el bismuto del estaño semirefinado.

This thesis focuses on the application of the technology of the continuous electro – termal crystallizer for the removal of lead from metallic tin obtained by the Ausmelt process. The chemical results of samples obtained in 645 batches processed in the electro – termal crystallizer are analyzed and complemented by a metallographic evaluation of the samples obtained in different stages of the fractional cystallization. It is verified that this method allow the removal of lead and bismuth from semirefined tin.
