Tectónica como posibilidad expresiva - La vivienda en la ciudad de Lima en el periodo 2000 – 2008

Abstract

La investigación realiza un estudio sobre el concepto de la tectónica formulada por el británico Kenneth Frampton. Entendemos a la tectónica como la capacidad expresiva que otorga la actividad constructiva al edificio. Y partimos de la idea central de que la arquitectura peruana contemporánea está afecta a la predominancia de la imagen como objeto visual del edificio, y ausente de consideraciones tectónicas en el edificio. El estudio de la tectónica se basa en crear una actitud crítica que se opone a la legitimización de la arquitectura a partir de otros discursos, pues la arquitectura, es primero y ante todo una construcción, conformado por las cualidades propias que conciernen a la construcción de un edificio. El trabajo discute la teoría de la tectónica como posibilidad expresiva en la primera parte. En la segunda etapa, plantea un análisis en los proyectos de vivienda unifamiliar en la ciudad de Lima a inicios del siglo XXI, premiados en las bienales de arquitectura nacionales.

Research carried out a study on the concept of tectonic made by British Kenneth Frampton. We understand the tectonics and the expressive power granted to the building construction activity.
