Importancia de la gestión financiera en la generación de valor económico en un depósito dental

Abstract

El presente trabajo se desarrolló con la finalidad de demostrar la importancia de una adecuada gestión financiera en la generación de valor económico en un Depósito Dental, utilizando herramientas e indicadores financieros y de gestión; así como, aplicando las correctas políticas administrativas, teniendo en consideración cambios en la organización, orden y control, basado en la transformación de una cultura de trabajo individualista a una cultura de trabajo en equipo. Se ha tomado como modelo uno de los principales Depósitos Dentales en el Perú, que se ha venido diferenciado de los demás depósitos dentales, cuya denominación y Razón Social se mantendrán bajo confidencialidad a solicitud de la Empresa, por lo que al referirnos a esta organización se le mencionara como EL DEPOSITO DENTAL. El estudio se desarrolló en el periodo comprendido entre los años 2014 al 2019. La primera parte del estudio, que se considera la más importante, comprende los primeros 3 años y se presenta en los Capítulos I al V, donde se detalla las actividades de EL DEPOSITO DENTAL, se realiza el análisis FODA y se evalúa la posición económica y financiera de los años 2012 y 2013, utilizando indicadores financieros y de gestión. En función a ello, la Alta Dirección define los objetivos estratégicos para los años 2014 al 2016, que fueron la base para la toma de las acciones financieras, administrativas y de inversión que se detallan en el Capítulo V, donde luego de aplicarlas, se evalúan los resultados económicos y financieros en forma anual, utilizando indicadores financieros y el Valor Económico Agregado (EVA) como herramientas de análisis, dando como resultado una mejora en la posición económica y financiera de EL DEPOSITO DENTAL y un mayor valor económico de la empresa en los primeros 3 años. En el Capítulo VI, para complementar los resultados obtenidos en la primera parte del estudio, se realiza una evaluación total de los beneficios obtenidos por las acciones tomadas que tuvieron un costo, en los 6 años que comprende el periodo en estudio, mediante el análisis Costo-Beneficio y el uso de herramientas financieras como Valor Actual Neto (VAN) y Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR); los cuales muestran con mayor énfasis los resultados de la gestión financiera, con una mejor posición económica y financiera, y un mayor valor económico para EL DEPOSITO DENTAL. Los resultados obtenidos durante el periodo en estudio, demuestran que, con la aplicación de una adecuada gestión financiera, que involucre la toma de acciones financieras, administrativas y de inversión, y el uso de herramientas financieras con la participación de personal profesional que trabaja en equipo y el compromiso de la Alta Dirección, se logran mejores resultados económicos y una mejor posición financiera, agregando valor económico a EL DEPOSITO DENTAL. Por lo tanto, se concluye que, una buena gestión financiera permite a toda empresa y especialmente a EL DEPOSITO DENTAL, obtener mejores resultados económicos y una mejor posición financiera; así como, estar más ordenada y contar con una mejor infraestructura, que le permita un crecimiento sostenible con mayor valor económico, haciéndola más interesante para el ojo de los clientes, proveedores y competencia; así como, de las empresas internacionales que estén interesadas en adquirirla.

This work was developed with the aim of demonstrating the importance of adequate financial management in the generation of economic value in a Dental Warehouse, using financial and management tools and indicators; as well as, applying the correct administrative policies, taking into account changes in the organization, order and control, based on the transformation of an individualistic work culture to a culture of teamwork. One of the main Dental Deposits in Peru has been taken as a model, which has been differentiated from the other dental deposits, whose name and Social Reason will be kept confidential at the request of the Company, so when referring to this organization it will be mentioned as EL DEPOSITO DENTAL. The study was developed in the period from 2014 to 2019. The first part of the study, which is considered the most important, comprises the first 3 years and is presented in Chapters I to V, which details the activities of EL DEPOSITO DENTAL, the FODA analysis is carried out and the economic and financial position of the years 2012 and 2013 is evaluated, using financial and management indicators. Based on this, Senior Management defines the strategic objectives for the years 2014 to 2016, that were the basis for the taking of the financial, administrative and investment actions detailed in Chapter V, where after implementing them, economic and financial results are evaluated on an annual basis, using financial indicators and Aggregate Economic Value (EVA) as analysis tools, resulting in an improvement in the economic and financial position of EL DEPOSITO DENTAL and a greater economic value of the company in the first 3 years. In Chapter VI, to complement the results obtained in the first part of the study, a total assessment of the benefits obtained by the actions taken that had a cost, in the 6 years comprising the period under study, is carried out through the Cost-Benefit analysis and the use of financial tools such as Net Current. Value (VAN) and Internal Rate of Return (TIR); which show with greater emphasis the result of financial management, with a better economic and financial position, and greater economic value for EL DEPOSITO DENTAL. The results obtained during the period under study show that, with the implementation of adequate financial management, involving the taking of financial, administrative and investment actions, and the use of financial tools with the participation of professional staff working as a team and the commitment of senior management, better economic results and a better financial position are achieved, adding economic value to EL DEPOSITO DENTAL. It is therefore concluded that good financial management allows every company and especially EL DEPOSITO DENTAL, to obtain better economic results and a better financial position; as well as, to be more orderly and have a better infrastructure, which allows sustainable growth with greater economic value, making it more interesting for the eyes of customers, suppliers and competition; as well as international companies that are interested in acquiring it.
