When choosing an exploitation method, it should be taken into account the mining method that must offer high productivity, high profitability for shareholders, a high percentage of mineral extraction and, above all, offer safe conditions to preserve the life of personnel and the mining equipment, as well as environmental protection conditions and all the resources used. On the other hand, the method of exploitation of long hole stoping, with respect to the rate of production can vary widely during exploitation, it can be said that at the beginning the production is slow, being in the preparation stage, then it is increased as that the mineral is being exploited. This method of long hole stoping, which is the subject of this applied research thesis offers economic technical advantages for the mining company, such as the versatility of Simba drilling equipment obtaining greater tonnage of fragmented material and a higher NPV of EBITDA discounted flows over the life of the mine, an NPV of $ 111,693,722 for the long hole method, and $ 100,662,119 for the conventional method.
