Centro de investigación e interpretación de biotecnologías humedales de Ventanilla

Abstract

El proyecto al que llamaremos CENTRO DE INTERPRETACIÓN E INVESTIGACIÓN DE BIOTECNOLOGÍAS HUMEDALES DE VENTANILLA (C.I.I.B.H.V.), se encuentra en el distrito de Ventanilla en la Provincia constitucional del Callao y se presenta como una oportunidad de demostrar que es posible recuperar, restaurar y proteger un hábitat natural dañado y al mismo tiempo convertirlo en un área productiva que impulse el desarrollo local, de la región Callao y del País. El proyecto se compone de tres volúmenes edificatorios de uno y dos pisos, los cuales albergan diferentes paquetes funcionales: Laboratorios de investigación, conferencias, educación, exhibiciones, administración y servicios. Estos volúmenes se relacionan entre sí en base a espacios semi techados y al aire libre, rodeados de lagunas artificiales que asemejan al humedal, proporcionando al visitante la experiencia de estar dentro de un humedal mientras recorre el complejo. Este partido arquitectónico nos permitió fragmentar el edificio en volúmenes de menor escala consiguiendo integrarse a un paisaje caracterizado por la horizontalidad. The project CENTRO DE INTERPRETACIÓN E INVESTIGACIÓN DE BIOTECNOLOGÍAS HUMEDALES DE VENTANILLA (C.I.I.B.H.V) is located in the district of Ventanilla in the Constitutional Province of Callao and is presented as an opportunity to demonstrate that it is possible to recover, restore and protect a habitat Natural and at the same time turn it into a productive area that promotes local development, the province of Callao region and the country. The project consists of three one-story and two-story building volumes, each of which houses different functional packages: Research laboratories, conferences, education, exhibitions, administration and services. These volumes are related to each other based on semi-covered spaces and outdoors, surrounded by artificial lagoons that resemble the wetland, providing the visitor with the experience of being inside a wetland while walking the complex. This architectural party allowed us to fragment the building into smaller volumes and get integrated into a landscape characterized by horizontality.
