Tablero de control de indicadores para la gestión de seguridad de una empresa de inspecciones y certificaciones

Abstract

La presente tesis tiene como finalidad implementar un Tablero de Control de Indicadores el cual permitirá mejorar la gestión de seguridad de la empresa SGS del Perú. Conocer la situación actual de la organización y sus procesos permite a las personas responsables usar eficientemente los recursos de la organización y tomar mejores decisiones de manera oportuna. Para la medición de dicha mejora de gestión se enfocará en los cumplimientos de los objetivos estratégicos corporativos a través de monitoreo constante a una serie de variables - algunas ya definidas por la organización a tratar - cuyos valores son uniformes, sencillos y sobre todo confiables. Los resultados obtenidos en la tesis fueron desarrollados con la metodología Planear, Hacer, Verificar y Actuar (PHVA) de la mejora continua. Teniendo a los indicadores cómo fuente de medición, análisis e implementación de acciones para lograr el cumplimiento de los objetivos estratégicos. La implementación del Tablero de Control de Indicadores junto con el análisis y evaluación del Tablero de Control Estratégico y Tablero de Control Operacional permitirá conocer numéricamente la mejora de los objetivos estratégicos de seguridad. Para el estudio del Tablero de Control y sus efectos en los objetivos estratégicos se formó un equipo de trabajo con el soporte del área de Operational Integrity1. Dicho desarrollo abarca desde el proceso de definición de objetivos estratégicos, objetivos operacionales, arquitectura de los indicadores, implementación del tablero de control de indicadores, seguimiento, control, finalmente observaciones y conclusiones sobre la mejora del tablero de control y sobre los objetivos estratégicos corporativos en la gestión de seguridad en la empresa SGS del Perú.

The purpose of this report is to implement a Indicator Control Board which will improve the security management of the company SGS of Peru. Knowing the current situation of the organization and its processes allows responsible people to use the resources of the organization efficiently and make better decisions in a timely manner. For the measurement of this management improvement we focus on the fulfillment of corporate strategic objectives through constant monitoring of a series of variables - some already defined by the organization to be treated - whose values are uniform, simple and above all reliable. The results obtained in the report were developed using the Planning, Do, Check and Act, PDCA, methodology of continuous improvement. Taking the indicators as a source of measurement, analysis and implementation of actions to achieve the strategic objectives. The implementation of the Indicator Control Board, together with the analysis and evaluation of the Strategic Control Board and Operational Control Board, will allow us to know numerically the improvement of strategic security objectives. For the study of the Control Board and its effects on the strategic objectives, a working team was formed with the support of the area of Operational Integrity. This development includes the definition of strategic objectives, operational objectives, architecture of indicators, implementation of the indicators control board, monitoring, control, finally observations and conclusions on the improvement of the control board and corporate strategic objectives in the security management in the company SGS of Peru.
