Abstract: This thesis describes and applles up today technological considerations in oder to design a good ventilation system for underground mine facilities. This study has been prepared for a polymetalic mine (Ag, Pb, and Zn) located at 5000 meters above sea level. The rich ore bodies are located at 350 meters dow below from the principal access tunnel connected with the surface. In underground mining, mine ventilation, is only one of the factors which influences mining productivity. Therefore this important service for underground mine must offer good working conditions; obeying racionalized netts of fresh air distribution. By other hand productivity messure the level of technology applied in our mine planning. It also means a competitiveness which included equipment's performance and men's intelligence because we are by planifícation people who has the skill for developing the scientific civi1ization. First step consist on doing a diagnostic of the mine studied. Second step designing racionalized netts of fresh air dIstribution to all kind of drifts, ramps, shafts and other access of the mine. Third step, accordlng with short range planning of the mine we solve a ventilation problem in order to work botton levels. Laws, formulas, computer programs and other knowledge has been used for this study.
