The research study concretes from medium to low resistance with settlement between 3 and 4 inch using Portland cement type I, principally the changes that its properties experiment qualitative and quantitative when we use plasticizing additive ULMEN (SH3 ) and percentages in 40%, 50% and 60% of hydrated lime. Likewise, I show the properties from different materials that I use in this research. The aggregates (thick and thin) was rehearsed in the laboratory to know its properties; in other hand the cement, plasticizing additive ULMEN and hydrated lime properties was provided by the manufacturers. In the first place, the pattern concrete design, the percentages of sand and rock of the global aggregate was calculate with the superposition between graphics about maximum compactness test and compression test of 7 days of age (see graphics 3.4, 3.8 and 3.12), for the relations water/cement of 0.60, 0.65 and 0.70. Just for this process of design the specimens were tested at 7 days of age, for the compression test case the specimens were tested at 7, 28, 45 and 60 days. In second place, the concrete design with additive was obtain from the pattern concrete and the additive dosage was 1% of the cement weight for the 3 relations w/c. Consequently, a certain amount of water had to be reduced for the designs, because when adding the plasticizer additive the mixture required a smaller amount of water to maintain the same consistency. Finally, the designs with 40%, 50% and 60% of hydrated lime with respect to the weight of the cement, was obtain from the pattern concrete plus additive. In these cases more water had to be added because as the percentage of lime increased the mixture required more water to maintain its consistency (3” to 4”).
