| Abstract: | Extensive debate has recently risen as a result of regulation on the manufacture and use of nano-materials. Historical examples, some of them centuries old, are given that show that nano-materials are not really new. These examples are followed by a more detailed account of a case study out of Dr Alarco's professional life doing R&D in industrial nano-materials. |
